Safe Living
As our communities ebb and flow in population, our First Responders must be trained and equipped to provide immediate assistance in a variety of situations in forests, rivers, and in the air.
Crisis situations are on the rise in school systems everywhere. Being prepared for these types of situations allow our children, educators, and parents feel confident they can learn by being healthy, safe, encouraged, engaged, and supported. Together, we will continue to improve the training and readiness for crisis in school settings.
Preventative safety for physical and mental situations allows the Chaffee County Social Services Department to be pro-active in providing support in safeguarding the welfare of the people.
