Landfill property longevity is a number one goal. Buying more land for a dumpsite is a long, long term item when appropriate, but not the sustainable answer. Conservation programs along with improved accumulation processes would increase our recycling percentages to at least state averages. Recycling and re-purposing considerations include processing materials for local uses, use of granulators, and renewable sources like solar and wind.
